The sky is an orange glow
As the sun sets
And the stars reveal themselves.
The heavens above shimmer
With the artistry and power of the night.
The moon is brought forth;
A glimpse into tomorrow.
The cosmos in its grandeur
Will show its magnificence.
Yet still at twilight’s hour,
I know not the beauty the universe will entail
—Only that I am here,
And I will marvel at its scale.
