Traditionally called a “masthead” in the literary world, Waymark acknowledges and honors its staff through the name “parliament.” Taking inspiration from Kennesaw State’s mascot, the owl, we gather together to soar into new heights.

Duke Jenkins

Duke is a senior English major and avid lover of romance, mystery, thrillers, and urban fantasy novels. He’s the current co-host of Waymark: Unbound, co-president of the Eta Pi chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, and a 4th year tutor at the KSU Writing Center. In his free time, he loves to cook, baking, hike, watch tv and movies, and travel to new places.

Brooke is a senior English major with a minor in technical communications and professional writing. In her free time, she likes to game, swim, write, read, sing, dance, and cook. She is currently writing her own fantasy series, and her dream is to be a published author! She is so excited to help Waymark grow as an undergraduate magazine and team this year!

Gabrielle Punzalan (she/her) is a Filipino-American writer and editor from the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. She is currently in her fourth year studying at Kennesaw State University as an English major with a minor in professional writing. Adeola is a junior Biochemistry major who adores reading and writing, and he tries to frequent the gym. He has been known get lost in nature and has been told his taste in music is unrivaled. He has also lived abroad for a time in Cairo, Egypt and Lagos, Nigeria, but he was actually born in New Orleans. He have two pets: a gecko and a cat, both of which are the most adorable things on this side of the Mississippi.

Ella is a third year Computer Science major with a minor in Management. She is originally from Atlanta, Georgia, and has loved reading and writing her whole life. She enjoys literary analysis and world building. Outside of literature, Ella is the programming and electrical lead for the Aerial Robotics Competition Team, and enjoys running, origami, and traveling.
