“Golden Harpy Owl” by Allison Cannon

Colored pencil and ink on 8×8 paper.

My artistic vision stems from my childhood, immersed in all things imaginative. It’s always involved storytelling through visual and written mediums. I’ve explored photography, case studies, and my own art projects. I aspire to be a photojournalist to blend my two hobbies, while also wanting to create illustrations and share my writings through novels as a side career. This submission and feature have given me the courage to pursue my passions further. To all creatives, take action; you never know where it will lead you.
