fingers stop at my heart’s bewildering
an image allows me to bask without
myriads of regret do my lives bring
mental acrobatics cast out all doubt
in this generational urge to have
someone remember you is hard when all
you want to do is forget their laugh
excuse me for being choked up when lies fall
unthinkable confines of aggression
always promised to ethereal creatures
know my fears are fading in confession
fervor aimlessly searching for my features
possibility opens up her door
to forbidden joy and dreaming for more
