My work, Canada’s Celebrini, is a digital illustration piece made during the 2026 Winters Olympics. It features the player Macklin Celebrini of Team Canada in a minimalist graphic style that has the subject matter meld with the background.
Watching the Olympics inspired me to create art pieces that were dynamic in nature, departing from my previous work that focused on static moments of peace and introspection. This is the first piece I created of this style, focusing on a bold colors, action poses, and a strong graphic influence.
